Jillian Elizabeth Hair & Make-up Artist

Why book with me?

I have over 10 years’ experience in the wedding industry and have provided make-up and/or hair styling for hundreds of wedding parties. This experience means I understand how special your wedding day is and how important it is to treat every face as an individual and work to find the perfect look for you. I listen to what you want but can also make suggestions if you are unsure and I am really friendly, my goal is to make you feel at ease and to look and feel your best.

I always start each make-up with a mini facial treatment as I believe great make-up starts with great skin. I have experience with lots of different skin types (including problem skin) and I will use products that suit you to get your skin in the best condition possible before applying any make-up.

Bridal hair and make-up is my sole career meaning that weddings come first for me and I do not need to work your wedding around another job. This means I can dedicate my working time to ensuring my brides have the best possible hair and make-up experience. I pride myself on my professionalism and reliability.

I also run Bride to Beauty Blog, a wedding blog I created especially for you wonderful brides to be. It is filled with useful hints and tips and advice on planning your big day. Click here now to be inspired.

How Do I Book?

Enquiry

When you enquire with myself I will let you know if I have your wedding date available. I also encourage you to have a look through the website and blogs and get a feel for the service I offer and ask any questions you may have. If you would like to secure your date you are required to pay a 50% retainer fee and sign your wedding contract. Your date is not secured until this has been done.

Consultation

Upon booking you will be invited to have a consultation with myself where you can sign your contract and I can find out more about the style of your wedding. It is important to me to find out exactly what you are looking for from your hair and make-up styling and this is a great opportunity to get to know you a bit better.

What Happens Once I Have Booked?

Trial

An individual hair or make-up trial lasts between 1 hour and an hour and a half. If booking both it can take up to 3 hours maximum for the bride.

During a make-up trial we will try out different eye looks and colours and I will be guided by how much coverage you would like. Different lip colours can be tested until we have the perfect flawless wedding day look for you.

During a hair trial we can try out 2 different hair styles which can either be 2 styles that you would like to decide between for your big day or the style you would like and a restyle so that no one will see your wedding day style.

Wedding Day

On the wedding day we will turn up in plenty of time to set up and do the bridal parties hair and make-up creating a calm and relaxed atmosphere. As well as this we are always happy to help dress the bridal party, corsets and buttons can be tricky but trust us, we have helped with them countless times. On your wedding day take the stress out of trying to cover a surprise spot or get that perfect red lip or flicked eyeliner by allowing us to pamper you!

Do you hold wedding dates?

Please note that due to a high level of enquiries for the same dates, it is not possible for me to reserve wedding dates without a receiving the 50% retainer fee and signed wedding contract. This is the only way to fully secure your date and my hair & makeup services.
